Terms

The ground rules for using Job.com.au, written so you can actually read them.

This is a plain-English placeholder for our MVP. It will be replaced by a version reviewed by our lawyers before launch.

Using Job.com.au

You need to be 16 or over and give us accurate information. Keep your password safe — you're responsible for what happens on your account.

For job seekers

Job.com.au is free for job seekers. Your Job Agent suggests roles and asks before sharing anything with an employer. We can't promise you'll be matched, introduced or hired — employers make their own decisions.

For employers

  • Post genuine roles with honest pay, location and requirements.
  • Use candidate information only to recruit for the role you were introduced for.
  • Don't try to identify anonymous candidates or contact them outside Job.com.au before an introduction.
  • Paid plans and credits are billed as shown on our pricing page.

Demo content

Some listings and companies are clearly labelled “Demo”. They're fictional and exist to show how Job.com.au works — they aren't real vacancies.

Listings from other sources

Some roles come from external job feeds. We attribute them and link to the original. We do our best to keep them current, but the original listing is the source of truth.

Fair use

No spam, scraping, discrimination, fake profiles or anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

The legal bit

We provide Job.com.au “as is” and, to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for hiring outcomes or indirect losses. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia.
